Stand Against Drugs

Coach Thompson was the coach for the Georgetown basketball team beginning in 1972. When Thompson heard that some of his players were frequenting clubs in which Rayful Edmonds, a notorious crack kingpin, was a regular, Thompson arranged a meeting with Rayful. He encouraged Rayful to leave the players be and to make sure that they didn't attend those clubs anymore. He was one of the few citizens to stand up to Rayful Edmonds.
