Lamont Carey
Lamont Carey was a drug dealer in DC. He describes how he became a dealer. As a child he was recruited by the dealers to first help by warning when police officers were approaching. He was then asked to hold drugs for the dealers, then instructed to sell some if someone approached him. If he sold some, they would give him part of the money. He explains how this was a big deal in an environment where most people are living pay check to pay check. Soon enough, he was lingering near the drug dealers in hopes fo helping them sell crack cocaine.
